The Redwood Center
Childhood is tough. We can help.
A child's natural inclination to play creates a magical environment for healing and growth. During play sessions, a child's whole brain engages, they relax and begin to imagine new and daring ways to view the world - and themselves. With the help of a play therapist, a dragon slayed in the playroom can become a dragon slayed in real life. Our work supports children to process emotions and experiences, understand relationships, problem-solve, self-regulate and gain confidence to live in peace.
Imagination and play are integral to mental health, and play therapy can be beneficial at any age (it looks a bit different for older kids). If this is something that interests you and your family, we would love to talk and see if we would be a good match. Contact us at (831) 219-8324 or hello@theredwoodcenter.org to request a free 15 minute consultation, or schedule an initial consultation through the "Request Appointment" option above.
